Same Day Today(Aug.23) Hello, Love Goodbye makes history as 2nd Film to gross P800M Mark.
August 23 Marks the day as Hello Love Goodbye became the 2nd Filipino Film to gross P800M Mark. This is the first time that Alden Richards and Kathryn Bernardo from two different TV Networks team up for a Romantic Film. Hello, Love Goodbye debuts last year July 31 with an impressive P34.4M Opening Day gross as the biggest Opening Day Gross for Local Film on that year. After just 3 days of release, it already passed the P100M Mark with P110.8M gross. Within that same day, it also broke records as the Widest Release Local Film of all time, shown to over 450 Cinemas nationwide surpassing the record of The Hows of Us 435 Cinemas.
It posted a whopping P250M Opening Weekend Gross (Wed-Sun. Gross) making it the second-biggest Opening Weekend Gross behind The Hows of Us record of P279.5M gross. By August 23 the 24th day of release, the film became the 2nd Filipino Film to surpassed the P800M mark.
It eventually became the Highest Grossing Filipino Film of all time after grossing an enormous P880M Worldwide. Hello, Love Goodbye joins The House of Us for being a P800M Gross Film that was both starred by this generation's Box Office Queen Kathryn Bernardo and directed by Cathy Garcia Molina.
Hello, Love Goodbye tells the story of Joy (Bernardo) a spunky, poor millennial who works as Domestic Helper in HongKong. She meets Ethan a Filipino who works as a Bartender, together they develop a friendship that eventually turns into a romantic thing. But then Joy as full of dreams in life, became torn between choosing Ethan or her long life dreams.
